Lake Wallenpaupack & Pocono Mountain Real Estate

Thank you for visiting my web site. My name is Sandra D. Lauer (most people call me Sandy) and I’ve been a resident of the Pocono Mountains here in Northeast PA since 1976. My husband and I have been married 37 years and raised our two sons in the local school system. They have gone on to graduate college and marry. Jeremy, my oldest married Suzanne in July 2001 and they have given me two beautiful grandchildren, Blake  and Anna Faith. (of course I’ve posted a picture below!).  Jason, our youngest son married Krystal in July of 2008. It  is wonderful to see that both of my sons and their wifes have worked hard to buy their own homes at such a young age. Real estate is a great investment for the future. They all live in Virginia which makes it hard for me, but I try to visit them often. Although I’ve been an insurance agent for 26 years, being a REALTOR is my passion. There is nothing like finding buyers their dream home, or finding a buyer for a motivated seller. I love meeting people and forming a “relationship”.

 

The Lake Wallenpaupack region of the Poconos is a sight for sore eyes, whether it be winter, summer, fall or spring, there is beauty everywhere.  If you’re the type of person who likes to gogogo, you’ll never run out of activities. Boating on Lake Wallenpaupack, shopping in Hawley, Honesdale or Milford, skiing Big Bear on Masthope Mountain…there are truly too many to mention!  If you prefer to relax, I’ll help you find that private nook in the woods where you can take your tea out on the porch with only nature as your background noise.  Yes, the Wallenpaupack Lake region still has many areas that are ‘off the beaten path’!  If you’re raising your family and are in search of a summer retreat, there are many communities in the Wallenpaupack area and the Poconos that can provide you with amenities galore…perfect for creating those fond memories that will last a lifetime.  Perhaps you’re retired and are snowbirds that have decided that the south is JUST TOO HOT in the summer…you will LOVE summer here in the Pocono Mountains!
